Lower third
The strap most news and factual programmes use to name a speaker or a story.
Try it
Above the canvas, open + Recipe… and choose Lower Third. The first lower third guide walks through editing, previewing and saving it.
What you get
- Layers: a panel, a texture, an accent bar, and the headline and subheadline text. They are ordinary layers in one group, so every one of them stays editable.
- Fields: name, role, style and live tag. One Style field maps to the accent, the tag colour and the tag text.
- Motion: an entrance into the on-air Step and an exit after it, as ordinary keyframes.
Make it yours
- Change the panel colours in the form above, then do the same in Studio's Properties.
- Apply a style pack (News, Sports, Entertainment or Documentary) to set colour, type and motion conventions in one go. The pack copies normal Brand Kit tokens you can keep editing.
- Use Properties → Animate In / Out to pick another entrance, such as Wipe or Slide.
