Ticker

A news crawl: a fixed label and a line of headlines moving across the bottom of the screen. Type new headlines into the form and the ticker picks them up.

Try it

Above the canvas, open + Recipe… and choose Ticker.

What you get

• Layers: a window, a label plate with its label, and a native ticker element beside it.
• Fields: label, headlines, scroll speed, direction, text direction, when updates apply, and a Breaking switch that a rule turns into a new label.
• Motion: the native ticker measures the current text and repeats it at a steady speed, so it keeps moving smoothly however long the graphic stays on air and however long the text gets.

Make it yours

• Adjust the scroll speed and the gap between repeats in the ticker's Properties.
• Restyle the label plate with your Brand Kit's accent colour.
• Keep each item short enough to read at your scroll speed; check it in fullscreen preview.
