How-to guides
Each guide takes one task from start to finish. They follow the latest stable release; the documentation has the complete reference.
Getting started
- Install and run OGraf Studio: download the single-file server, or run from source.
- Make your first lower third: start from a broadcast recipe, edit it, preview it and save it.
Building graphics
- Animate with steps and keyframes: the Start, Step and End lifecycle, the timeline and Auto-keyframe.
- Connect graphics to operator data: add data fields and bind text, images and colours to them.
- Add images, SVG and Lottie: bring artwork in and keep it editable.
- Create a shader background: GLSL fills with operator controls.
Delivering graphics
- Export and test an OGraf package: produce a checked
.ograf.zipand test it in your player. - Share projects from GitHub: open
.ogsprojects straight from a URL.
Working with AI
- Connect an AI assistant: use the built-in AI Assistant, or drive Studio from an MCP client such as Claude or Codex.
