OGraf Studio 0.11

OGraf Studio 0.11 expands editable motion backgrounds, compositing and AI authoring. The release includes single-file servers for Windows x64, macOS Intel/Apple Silicon and Linux x64/ARM64.

Path paint and masks

  • Paths support solid, linear, radial and conic fills, even-odd holes, color/gradient bindings and independent gradient-stop animation.
  • Alpha and geometric path masks support inversion, source-only layers, animated sources, nested dependencies and parent clipping. Duplication, components and collections remap mask references.
  • Browser PNG capture preserves native SVG masks and pattern references.

Procedural backgrounds and effects

  • Shared pattern resources hold vector symbols, sequences, fitted rows, seeded spacing, direction, cycle duration and row overrides. Linked fill, outline, glow and mask layers share motion.
  • The effects stack supports repeated blur, shadow, glow, brightness, contrast, saturation and hue effects. Reorder, duplicate and bypass preserve stable parameter identities and animation.
  • Numeric effect parameters support lifecycle tracks, local loops, Brand Kit tokens and live OGraf data. Scheduled seeking and updates preserve deterministic playback.

Brand Kit and interface

  • Brand Kit is a dockable pane with direct palette swatches and Window-menu recovery.
  • Gradient-stop, outline and shadow colors can follow Brand Kit tokens. Color fields can inherit token defaults while accepting live playback overrides.
  • Remove applied pack detaches pack links while preserving current appearance and custom tokens.
  • Interface typography is slightly smaller; authored graphic text keeps its original size.

AI authoring and packaging

  • MCP operations, discovery, inspection and sampling expose patterns, masks and effect instances. Updated external skills and in-app guidance include exact parameter paths and examples.
  • Source document version 28 retains compatibility with existing blur/shadow animation and bindings.
  • Standalone servers explicitly embed the export runtime, fixing source-tree lookups in packaged executables. Opening a project into an existing MCP session is undoable.
  • Product and MCP server versions are 0.11 / 0.11.0; Windows file metadata is 0.11.0.0.
  • Updated fast-uri to 3.1.7 and qs to 6.16.0 to address the reported URI-normalization and query-parser advisories. The release dependency audit reports no known vulnerabilities.

The destination machine needs no Node.js, npm, Bun or source checkout. Run the executable and open http://127.0.0.1:4318/; use --help for port/workspace options. On macOS/Linux, first run chmod +x <downloaded-file>. SHA-256 checksums, a build manifest and the matching authoring skill archive accompany the release assets.

Verification and boundaries

  • The repository verification gate covers 466 tests across 95 files, generated contracts/prompts, formatting, lint, typechecks and production builds.
  • Windows and Linux x64 receive startup/HTTP smoke checks; Windows also exercises MCP and browser rendering/export. All five artifacts receive binary-format, architecture/content and hash checks.
  • macOS and ARM64 binaries are cross-compiled and structurally checked; native execution on those platforms remains unverified. Windows is unsigned; macOS builds are unsigned and not notarized.
  • Save/export uses automated OGraf conformance checks. These are not EBU certification or a claim of compatibility with every third-party broadcast renderer.
  • A responsive editor remains necessary for capture and conformance checks. Components and Brand Kit resources remain composition-local; portable cross-project component packaging and the unified shared-lighting controller are still pending.
