Create procedural patterns from visual presets or selected vector shapes. Edit symbols, spacing, and motion in a live preview, import SVG silhouettes, and keep shared resources or make a layer independent.

Apply animated shader paints to shapes, text, procedural patterns, images, image sequences, and Lottie layers. Media paints follow the original content's alpha.

Keep text editable while using independent shader fills and outlines.

Expose shader controls and OGraf data fields with
#pragma ograf
annotations for sliders, colors, toggles, and 2D vectors.

Animate exposed shader controls with property keyframes and repeating local loops, independently for fill and outline. Keyed channels take precedence over runtime data while their tracks are active.

Create unused project shaders with Resources → Shaders → New Shader, then apply them to objects when needed. Browse saved shaders and object usages with thumbnails and editable names.

Edit in a live preview, load GLSL files, and choose Save shader or Cancel before changing the project.

Drag a shader resource onto an Inspector Fill or Outline row to copy its paint and settings.

Remove shader usages from Resources while keeping their objects, with Undo support.

Shader paints require WebGL 2 and support one Shadertoy-style Image pass using
mainImage
,
iTime
,
iResolution
, and annotated parameters. Texture/audio inputs, feedback buffers, and multiple passes are not supported.

Shader-painted objects can receive masks and provide geometric path masks. Using their rendered alpha as a separate layer's mask is not supported in this candidate.

Select a rectangle, rounded rectangle, ellipse or existing path, then choose Edit as path in
Properties or the canvas context menu. Drag anchors and incoming/outgoing curve handles directly
on the canvas, including on rotated and nonuniformly resized layers.

Add Point splits the following segment without changing its curve. Remove Point, Smooth and
Corner reshape the contour. Shift constrains dragging; arrows nudge, Shift+Arrow moves ten units,
and Alt adjusts a handle independently. Escape cancels a drag or exits; Done exits point mode.

Each finished drag is one undo step. Conversion retains layer identity, compatible paint,
effects, bindings, relationships, transform keys and loops. Shape edits apply across the animation.

Edited paths can extend outside the original viewBox. Preview and exported runtime use the same
expanded curve bounds, while keeping authored transform tracks fixed. Gradients span the expanded
content box. Existing unedited paths retain their prior clipping behavior.

The MCP server advertises version 0.14.0.
edit_path
supports conversion, anchor movement,

current geometry; re-read indices after insertion/removal. Unexpected action fields and edits to
locked layers fail without partially applying a batch.

Capabilities document exact parameters and limits. The repository and installed authoring skill,
portable skill archive, generated MCP contracts and in-app prompt contain the updated workflow.
Existing context budgets remain unchanged.

OGraf Studio 0.13 hardens Lottie playback and makes everyday layer creation safer and faster. The

Lottie renders into an adapter-owned positive Canvas and avoids lottie-web's destructive resize
path. Gradients, gradient strokes, mattes and rounded-corner artwork retain their color;
hidden/detached initialization no longer creates zero-sized matte buffers.

load()
and browser captures await embedded images, fonts, item construction and the first Canvas
frame. Images are predecoded; data, load, render and timeout failures surface explicitly.
Segmented documents, invalid image assets and unsupported luma mattes fail early.

Nonzero source in-points map correctly to the player's relative seek API. Realtime layers share
one clock; changed non-realtime targets rebuild and await a fresh player for byte-repeatable
output.

Persistent playback sizes backing canvases from maximum authored bounds within a DPR-adjusted
allocation cap. Certification verifies every expected Canvas and compares SHA-256 pixel
signatures across a non-period-aligned backward/return seek.

Expanded regression checks cover Lottie rendering, repeatable seeking and exported playback.

Safer authoring defaults

Startup hydration completes before the editor mounts. Launch, New, open/import and template
replacement reset transport to frame 0 and select the Start lifecycle state.

Placing a fresh layer at frame 0 updates each still-static transform property across its equal
Start/Step/End compatibility keys. Deliberately animated properties and edits at nonzero frames
remain frame-scoped.

New rectangles and ellipses start at 200 × 200, producing a square and circle respectively.
Explicit dimensions and later free resizing remain independent.

Selected-layer Properties puts Name/Z order, Transform/Alpha/easing and element-specific
appearance before Brand Kit, effects, compositing, layout, bindings and semantic metadata.

Exact duplication

Ctrl/Cmd+D, Edit → Duplicate and canvas Duplicate create an exact-position copy and select it.
Ordinary Paste retains its visible 20 px offset.

Persistent groups, parents, masks, keys, loops and complete linked component instances receive
fresh safe IDs, including nested bound-field nodes. Partial linked copies detach instead of
retaining invalid relationships.

Copies form one contiguous block immediately above the frontmost selected source, and each
command is one undo step. New/open clears project-scoped clipboard state so composition-local
references cannot leak between projects.

MCP capabilities describe the supported Lottie Canvas, readiness and seek profile. Scene
inspection returns derived validity, warnings, dimensions, rate and in/out timing for each Lottie
layer.

The external
ograf-authoring
skill and generated in-app guidance cover self-contained Lottie
inputs, representative-frame inspection, backward seeking, certification and target-renderer
limits. MCP rectangle and ellipse defaults match the 200 × 200 editor defaults. Generated MCP
contract metadata now comes from the connected server handshake, so its advertised version stays
aligned with the released server.

Source document version remains 31. Existing projects migrate at the load boundary; this release
introduces no new persisted schema version.

Product and MCP server versions are 0.13 / 0.13.0; Windows file metadata is 0.13.0.0.

Add Image opens a visual picker for direct upload or reuse from the project library. Images may
also be dropped onto the canvas, retain intrinsic aspect ratio and fit inside the composition.

Resources exposes image thumbnails with Add to canvas. Properties previews the current image and
replaces it without discarding layer placement, animation or bindings.

Existing images, reusable components and the procedural Graphite background remain editable and
may be composed into lower thirds or other templates.

Applying a style pack now updates existing color controls, GDD defaults, gradients, reflections,
highlights and shared lighting while preserving tonal ratios, alpha, masks and motion.

Editing a parent palette token propagates through linked custom controls and runtime field
defaults. Playback data remains authoritative.

Remove applied pack restores the recorded pre-pack fonts, colors, bindings, field defaults and
timing. Repeated pack switches derive from the original baseline rather than compounding shades.

Shared Looping Pattern lighting coordinates sweep timing, phase, intensity, glow strength and
softness while retaining per-layer speed variation and original curves.

Every tool pane can open in a separate browser window and move to another monitor. Detached panes
share project state, selection, undo history, form drafts and the single MCP connection. Closing
the window or choosing Dock back restores the original pane location.

Detached Preview includes Picture only mode. Timeline shortcuts, menus, image dialogs, numeric
scrubbing, imported fonts and property resizing follow the pane into its browser window.

Property label/value columns are draggable and remembered per pane. Left labels have contextual
tooltips and accessible descriptions for semantic, layout, text, mask, effect, pattern, lighting,
Brand Kit and runtime-data controls.

Timeline adds clear previous/next-frame controls and focused Left/Right stepping. Alt+Arrow retains
keyframe nudging; Alt-hover reveals detailed track metadata without crowding the lanes.

Transition duration controls use compact
f
/
ms
labels and viewport-safe rounding choices.
Folder rows and animation spans use flat fills for clearer keys and markers.

MCP operations and generated guidance understand shared lighting, reversible style-pack palettes,
image-first insertion, component reuse and current Timeline behavior.

The external authoring skill documents color routing, shared lighting and detached-window session
ownership. A second full editor is no longer suggested for multi-monitor use.

Source document version 31 migrates older projects at the load boundary. Restore and palette-link

OGraf Studio 0.10 adds self-contained Windows, macOS, and Linux distributions while preserving the
existing source development and independent MCP workflows. One executable per operating system and
architecture serves the complete browser editor, MCP endpoint, editor bridge, health/capture routes,
fonts, icons, schemas, and runtime dependencies.

Standalone server distribution

Added
npm run server:package
, which creates
release/OGrafStudioServer.exe
with the production
Vite editor and all server dependencies embedded. Bun is required only on the build machine; the
destination requires no Bun, Node.js, npm, installer, or source checkout.

Added
npm run server:package:all
for Windows x64, macOS Intel/Apple Silicon, and Linux x64/ARM64,
plus deterministic PE/Mach-O/ELF format, architecture, embedded-content, size, and SHA-256 checks.

Added
npm run server:start
for source-level testing of the combined host.

Added
--port
,
--workspace
,
--open
,
--no-open
, and
--help
command-line options while
retaining
OGRAF_MCP_PORT
and
OGRAF_WORKSPACE_ROOT
environment overrides.

Standalone storage defaults to
Documents/OGraf Studio/Projects
, rather than the read-only
executable or source tree.

The packaged editor alone derives its
/editor
WebSocket from the page origin. Normal Vite
development retains
ws://127.0.0.1:4318/editor
and normal
npm run mcp:start
retains the
repository workspace default.

The first standalone release deliberately binds only to
127.0.0.1
and retains the MCP SDK's
localhost host validation. Authenticated non-loopback hosting remains future work.

Packaging now stages and replaces the executable atomically so a failed build preserves the last
successful artifact.

Console and Windows branding

Startup identifies OGraf Studio 0.10 and prints the public

https://github.com/zerodensity/ograf-studio
source URL.

Added a compact ASCII banner containing the Zero Density mark and a separately centered OGS
broadcast-arc/letter/peak icon. Every OGS row shares one centerline and the complete banner fits an
ordinary 80-column terminal.

Replaced Bun's default executable icon with a Windows icon derived from the existing OGraf Studio
project artwork. The packaged PE exposes the branded icon from 16 through 256 pixels.

Added Zero Density publisher, product, description, copyright, and
0.10.0.0
Windows metadata.

Development workflow and defaults

Added
npm run start:all
, a Windows helper that launches the normal Vite editor and MCP server as
hidden background processes, skips already healthy services, waits for readiness, and writes
separate logs under
.logs
.

Locked the editor New path to the composition factory defaults: opaque black output with
Outside canvas · 20% gray enabled. Existing, imported, and autosaved projects retain their
authored background and layout settings.

Validation

npm run verify
passes generated MCP-contract and in-app-prompt drift checks, formatting, lint,
every workspace typecheck, 423 tests across 87 files, the runtime bundle, and the production
editor build.

The standalone executable returned HTTP 200 for embedded editor HTML and its application bundle,
advertised all 26 MCP tools, rendered Timeline and Properties in a real browser without console
errors, and reported the same-origin editor bridge connected through
/health
.

The independent
npm run mcp:start
path was also launched on a separate port and retained its
original workspace and endpoint behavior.

The Linux x64 executable was also run under Ubuntu 22.04 on WSL: it served editor HTML and healthy
workspace JSON before shutting down cleanly. macOS and ARM64 binaries are cross-compiled and
structurally verified but still require native runner validation.

OGraf Studio 0.09 makes dense broadcast-authoring work faster and clearer. It expands Timeline and
layer-order editing, improves project/history reliability, adds a deliberate text-distortion mode,
and aligns the application chrome and configuration panes with the Zero Density/RealityHub visual
system. These editor changes do not alter authored canvas pixels unless the author explicitly uses
the new content properties.

Timeline editing

Added Ctrl/Cmd additive selection across layer/property timeline rows and same-row Shift ranges.
Dragging or arrow-nudging any selected key moves the complete selection atomically, preserves
spacing, and stops at composition bounds or unselected keys on every affected track.

Set lifecycle, layer, and property key diamonds to 11 px. Loop badges and selection/focus
outlines scale with them without changing frame alignment or Timeline row heights.

Made the divider between Timeline layer/property names and keyframe tracks resizable. Dragging,
keyboard arrows, Home/End, and double-click reset are supported; the width persists locally and
always reserves usable track space.

Made Timeline Group names reliably editable by double-click, with full-name selection, F2 keyboard
access, and event handling that no longer lets the second click retrigger group selection.

Hidden selected-layer outlines and Moveable controls during Timeline playback. Selection is
preserved and its overlay returns immediately when playback pauses or stops.

Upgraded normal Timeline Play to sample every compiled local loop together, including scrolling
tickers and loops that continue while parked at a Step. Removed the redundant top Edit/OGraf
Preview switch and separate main-canvas runtime mode; Preview & Export remains available for
detailed playout actions and certification.

Layer ordering and reliability

Added an editable Z order field to Properties. It maps directly to canonical layer paint
order, with
1
at the back and the current layer count at the front; values are rounded and
clamped to the available range.

Added standard Send to Back, Send Backward, Bring Forward, and Bring to Front toolbar actions.
They support multi-selection, retain internal order, and disable at the applicable boundary.

Added Ctrl/Cmd+A and Edit -> Select all layers for selecting the complete active composition
instead of webpage text. Hidden, locked, and guide layers are included; editable fields retain
native Select All behavior.

Browser Undo now reconciles the active composition and keyframe when restoring a snapshot from a
different bridge-synchronized project, preventing stale composition IDs from crashing the editor.

Docking and element authoring

Changed Window-menu reopening so a closed pane first returns as a centered floating window rather
than docking automatically to its former/default edge. Multiple reopened panes cascade slightly
and remain fully dockable afterward.

Added Squeeze beside the existing text sizing modes. Resizing a squeezed text layer scales
glyph width and height independently to fill the box, enabling intentional condensed, expanded,
tall, or flattened text in the editor, capture path, and exported runtime.

Changed ordinary Rectangle, Ellipse, Text, Image, Path, Image Sequence, and Lottie creation to
alpha 1 at Start, Step, and End so new objects are immediately visible. Recipe motion retains its
explicit hidden entrance and exit states.

Replaced text-only add-element buttons with a consistent icon-only SVG set. Accessible names,
native titles, immediate custom tooltips, and clearer hover/focus feedback remain available.

Zero Density visual system

Centralized the visual tokens sampled from the live RealityHub interface: Nunito, 14 px/13 px
hierarchy, charcoal surfaces,
#dadada
/
#aaaaaa
text,
#399ed4
active tabs,
#60d0ff
focus,
teal actions, 1 px separators, and flat 0/2 px geometry.

Bundled OFL-1.1 Nunito 400 Latin, Latin Extended, and Vietnamese subsets locally through

@fontsource/nunito
; Studio does not depend on a running RealityHub server or external font CDN.

Applied the shared contract to application/header surfaces, docking tabs/groups/floating panes,
menus, panels, scrollbars, forms, selections, resources, layer rows, and element/timeline toolbars.
Authored graphic typography, canvas pixels, capture, certification, and export remain independent.

Configuration tables and numeric scrubbing

Reworked Properties into RealityHub-style configuration tables with full-width section bars,
stable 42% label / 58% editor columns, 1 px row/column separators, aligned checkboxes, and
full-row Width/Height/effect/corner/frame-duration controls instead of scattered mini-grids.

Applied the same label/value column contract to Data test values and Preview data overrides while
preserving task-specific list, canvas, chat, resource-tree, and Timeline-track layouts.

Added one editor-wide RealityHub-style controller for every enabled numeric input: hover shows the
usage popup and east/west cursor, horizontal drag changes by the declared field step, Shift uses
10x speed, Alt uses 0.1x speed, and min/max bounds are respected.

Kept normal typing first-class: a sub-threshold click focuses and selects the value, while real
drags publish native bubbling input/change events through existing React/store/history actions.

Validation

npm run verify
passes generated MCP-contract and in-app-prompt drift checks, formatting, lint,
every workspace typecheck, 410 tests across 84 files, the runtime bundle, and the production
editor build.

Regression coverage includes multi-key selection, gutter resizing, z-order commands, Select All,
project-history reconciliation, Squeeze rendering, full-alpha creation defaults, the shared
configuration-grid contract, and numeric modifier/rounding/clamping behavior.

The production editor build continues to emit the documented large-chunk advisory. Headless
render/certify remains intentionally deferred, and real provider smoke testing still requires the
user's configured BYOK credentials.

OGraf Studio 0.08 improves day-to-day editing feedback and presentation testing. It adds readable
Undo/Redo history, automatic AI references for selected layers, stronger chat progress and context
management, independent rectangle corner radii, editor-only video/still-image backgrounds, updated
project branding, and clearer Properties terminology. Authoring aids remain isolated from certified
OGraf playout output.

Added a top Edit menu with Undo, Redo, shortcut labels, timestamps, and a scrollable 50-action
history display.

Added descriptive labels for common layer, property, animation, layout, resource, data, Brand Kit,
and lifecycle edits.

Added clickable multi-step history jumps across both undo and redo states while retaining the
existing debounced browser history as the sole source of truth.

Added
Ctrl+Y
redo alongside
Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+Z
; existing
Ctrl/Cmd+Z
undo remains unchanged.

AI chat feedback and references

Added an always-visible active-turn strip with animation, provider/model phase, current tool,
model round, elapsed time, and progressively clearer long-wait guidance.

Added provider-round progress events, a configurable
OGRAF_AGENT_TIMEOUT_MS
boundary (120
seconds by default), and explicit timeout/disconnect recovery that clears orphaned busy state.

Isolated chat history by project ID, capped individual tool results at 16,000 characters, bounded
complete history units to 96,000 characters, and added one safe retry when a provider rejects the
first round for context length.

Added automatic visible Chat reference chips for current canvas, Layers, and Timeline selection,
including multi-selection and primary property/key detail. Manual layer drops remain available for
removable references outside the current selection.

Added a looping Big Buck Bunny HTML video behind Edit and OGraf Preview for evaluating transparent
graphics over moving footage.

Added a Still image presentation background using either an image URL or a locally selected

Replaced the rectangle-wide radius with top-left, top-right, bottom-right, and bottom-left values,
plus an All corners convenience control.

Applied asymmetric radii consistently to editor/runtime DOM rendering, SVG diagnostics, gradients,
transformed child clipping, Brand Kit token targets, and MCP operations.

Migrated legacy numeric radii to four equal corners without changing existing visuals.

OGraf Studio 0.07 adds a persistent Visual Studio-style docking workspace, the canonical
.ogs

project format, remote editable-project loading, refined canvas/layer/timeline controls, neutral
motion defaults, and GNU AGPL v3.0 licensing. Project documents and certified OGraf playout output
remain isolated from editor-only layout state.

OGraf Studio project extension

Changed the canonical editable project extension from
.ogeproj
to
.ogs
across browser saves,
downloads, file pickers, URL examples, embedded-source discovery, MCP open/save contracts, and
reference templates.

Kept
.ogeproj
and
.ogeproj.json
readable as legacy inputs; every new browser or MCP save now
produces/requires
.ogs
. The
.ograf.zip
playout-package extension is unchanged.

Dockable panes

Made Layers, Chat, Resources, Inspector, Data, Preview & Export, and Timeline independently
dockable around the fixed canvas.

Added left/right/top/bottom/float docking hints, live drop previews, tab-stack drops, double-click
floating, movable/resizable floating windows, and dock-location controls in floating headers.

Added Visual Studio-style edge proximity while moving floating windows: approaching the nearest
workspace edge reveals its directional guide and dock preview, and releasing there docks the pane.

Strengthened edge detection with pointer and floating-frame proximity, support just outside the
workspace so literal corners remain usable, larger labelled guides, and a higher-contrast preview.
Additional bottom panes now stack above the existing bottom pane and reduce its height.

Added drag-and-drop tab reordering with before/after insertion markers; the same indexed drop can
place a pane arriving from another dock group, and the resulting order persists locally.

Unified the entire tab body under one pointer gesture so normal tab dragging now always exposes
the docking overlay: tab targets reorder, guides/edges dock, and free centre space floats.

Added persistent internal split handles between adjacent dock groups, with live pair resizing,
orientation-correct cursors, and minimum pane sizes for stacked and side-by-side layouts.

Added × actions for docked and floating panes plus a checked Window menu that closes open
panes and reopens closed panes in their default region. Intentional closure persists locally and
remains distinct from layout-repair recovery.

Preserved the former arrangement as the default and persist the validated editor layout locally;

Added Open URL for editable
.ogs
source hosted at an absolute HTTP(S) URL.

Added credential-free CORS fetch, HTTP(S)-only redirect validation, bounded streaming with a 32 MiB

Documented public GitHub raw-file repositories as a supported storage model, including immutable

Replaced layer-ID-hashed random timeline hues with one fixed neutral-gray parent-layer summary

Applied each semantic colour consistently to the property label accent, animation rectangles, key
diamonds, loop markers, selection outline, and easing/frame labels across every object/project.

Laid out parent-track frame counts and easing names in one constrained metadata row, reserving

Changed expanded timeline layers to show only value-changing, non-lifecycle-authored, looped,

Added All as a transient full-property projection and + Property to reveal a compatible
static property and select/add its key at the current frame.

Replaced low-visibility Timeline Group and layer-property disclosure triangles with bold
+
for
collapsed and
-
for expanded while retaining accessible Expand/Collapse labels.

Kept show/hide/reveal state local to the editor; compiled output and portable
.ogs
semantics

OGraf Studio 0.06 combines built-in BYOK AI authoring, reusable broadcast design systems and
recipes, EBU R 95 layout guidance, deterministic fit-to-width text, an infinite canvas, scalable
resource/layer navigation, and a substantially clearer timeline and editor interface. Authored
graphics remain ordinary portable OGraf layers, fields, tracks, and packaged resources.

In-app BYOK authoring chat

Added a persistent, collapsible Layers / Chat sidebar with server-side Anthropic and
OpenAI-compatible request/tool loops over the same canonical authoring records as MCP.

Reduced the in-app surface to 14 tools and kept save, export, certification, import, and project
reset as explicit Studio actions. Visually consequential batches retain the existing human
Accept/Reject proposal flow.

Added a deterministic approximately 6.5k-token system prompt generated from the complete

ograf-authoring
Skill, with verification-time drift and token-budget gates.

Ambient selection, current frame, zoomed viewport, and recent edit context remain outside the
stable cached prefix. Provider cache-read usage and per-message/session/project token totals are
visible without entering portable
.ogeproj
source.

Credentials stay server-side in Windows Credential Manager or the process environment. The editor
receives only configuration/availability state, redacted progress, proposal references, and
usage. External MCP activity is visible and an optional session-local exclusive lock arbitrates
the two agent front doors.

Broadcast style packs and materialized recipes

Added immutable News, Sports, Entertainment, and Documentary style-pack definitions containing
palette, modular type scale, font weight/stack, radius, outline, and motion conventions.

Applying a pack copies normal editable Brand Kit tokens and materializes compatible semantic
layer properties. No pack metadata or proprietary runtime dependency enters exported OGraf.

Added materialized bug/DOG, clipped ticker/crawl, two-team scoreboard, and 24-hour clock recipes
alongside lower thirds and repeaters. Every recipe returns ordinary editable grouped layers,
constrained fields, semantic roles/tags, complete ID mappings, and deterministic tracks.

Ticker motion uses an absolute-time local X loop inside a
clipChildren
window rather than a
lifecycle-long translation. Scoreboard values use the document-v20 text-outline model.

EBU R 95 safe areas and text fitting

Replaced legacy 5% action / 10% title assumptions with EBU R 95 16:9 action-safe (3.5%) and
title/graphics-safe (5%) per-axis insets.

Centralized integer-pixel safe-area geometry for HD/UHD canvas overlays, scene projections,
broadcast QA, MCP lint, and AI guidance. Reference fixtures cover 1920x1080 and 3840x2160.

Added Fit to width beside Auto size, Shrink text to box, and Fixed box. The shared editor/export
DOM renderer finds the largest proportional font size contained by both fixed box axes without
stretching glyphs or permitting overflow.

Refitting reacts to data, explicit line breaks, box animation/resizing, animated text outline,
packaged-font loads, and unscaled composition-pixel measurement so canvas zoom cannot contaminate
the result.

Infinite canvas and scalable project navigation

Removed visible bottom/right canvas scrollbars and replaced the finite pasteboard with a
recentering node-graph-style camera in Edit and main OGraf Preview.

Plain mouse wheel now performs pointer-anchored canvas zoom; Ctrl/Command plus/minus keyboard
shortcuts remain. Middle-button panning, off-frame selection, Moveable controls, rulers, guides,
snapping, and output clipping stay aligned to the virtual camera.

Added document-v21 Dim outside canvas (18%). Four camera-aware regions darken only the
pasteboard; composition pixels, capture, certification, and exported alpha remain unchanged.

Layers retain authoritative paint order while parent depth controls indentation. Dragging onto a
row centre assigns a parent; upper/lower quarters reorder before/after. Self-parenting and cycles
are rejected.

Converted Resources to a compact counted ARIA tree for Brand Kit, Components, Images, Fonts, and
Source attachments. Branch/item expansion is transient UI state and all prior import, metadata,
package-path, license, usage guard, component refresh, and deletion behavior remains available.

Timeline readability and interaction

Replaced thin key-to-key exposure strips with full-height colored rectangles, neutral gray
borders, centered frame/easing labels, and 18 px layer/property/lifecycle diamonds.

Expanded Position X/Y, Width, Height, Rotation, Alpha, outline, and effect rows now use the same
28 px row height, 12 px labels, full-height blocks, and diamond size as their parent layer.

Centered
∞
inside loop-activation diamonds. Collapsed layers retain a summary badge, while
expanded property rows mark only the properties that actually contain local-loop tracks.

Corrected lifecycle diamond geometry so Start, every Step, and End align at zero-pixel difference
from same-frame layer keys.

Made ruler and left-gutter headers sticky/opaque above scrolling blocks, diamonds, layer names,
and property names while retaining the playhead above both headers.

Separated selection from navigation: single-clicking lifecycle, layer, or property keys selects
without moving the playhead; double-click seeks to that key. Empty track clicks select only;
double-click continues to add a key and seek there.

Added a three-pixel drag threshold so pointer jitter cannot move a key. Real key/lifecycle drags,
ruler scrubbing, and playhead scrubbing remain seek-aware. Shift+double-click retains lifecycle
Step rename.

Editor UI consistency

Consolidated Studio chrome to one system UI family plus one monospace diagnostics family, with
only 12 px primary/control text and 10 px compact metadata text. Authored graphic typography is
isolated and unchanged.

Applied the typography contract to buttons, inputs, selects, and textareas. Font controls identify
selected template families without restyling Studio widgets.

Reduced resizable panel dividers from 6 px to 3 px while preserving larger invisible grab areas.

Normalized Resources actions and frame/millisecond duration controls to explicit high-contrast
Studio colors, borders, padding, radii, focus/hover states, and readable disabled states.

Moved Align/Distribute/Group controls next to insertion tools. The contextual unit wraps together
at narrow widths and shows only Group or Ungroup according to the selection.

Validation

npm run verify
passes generated MCP-contract and in-app-prompt drift, formatting, lint, every
workspace typecheck, 332 tests across 68 files, the runtime bundle, and the production editor
build.

The generated MCP contract is 146,764 bytes, below the enforced 150,000-byte context budget. The
authoring-only catalog and in-app prompt remain outside the playout bundle.

Live browser checks verified exact two-family/two-size UI typography, 3 px panel dividers,
full-height timeline/property rows, centered loop badges, zero-pixel lifecycle/key alignment,
sticky scroll headers, high-contrast Resources/duration controls, contextual toolbar placement,
and single-click selection versus double-click seeking.

Existing recipe/template validation remains at 99/100 design QA with the advisory padding-rhythm
finding; deterministic half-loop ticker sampling and all five dual-profile certification gates
passed.

Current boundaries

Headless render/certify remains explicitly deferred. Browser-backed capture, measurement,
certification, save, and export require one connected responsive OGraf Studio tab.

One real customer-provider BYOK smoke test is still required; local provider-wire mocks cover both
endpoint dialects, tool normalization, cache accounting, cancellation, and redaction.

Streaming chat deltas, persisted transcript history, provider price conversion, and additional
provider adapters remain follow-up work.

The production editor build retains the existing non-blocking large-chunk advisory.

OGraf Studio 0.05 adds production-oriented text outlines and makes the AI authoring surface smaller,
more portable, and more efficient without changing standard OGraf output boundaries.

Broadcast text outlines

Added document-v20
strokeColor
and independently animatable, non-negative
strokeWidth
to text.

Added Inspector controls, timeline/property keys, local-loop tracks, frame-aware text measurement,
Brand Kit colour/width targets, MCP operations, capability discovery, and validation.

Shared editor/runtime rendering uses CSS text stroke with
paint-order: stroke fill
, keeping the
outline behind the glyph face instead of reducing the visible fill.

SVG diagnostics sample the same width track and emit matching stroke/paint-order attributes.

Migration backfills transparent/zero stroke on normal layers and reusable-component snapshots.
Older compiled OGraf descriptors receive the same defaults when imported.

Auto-size, shrink-to-fit, overflow diagnostics, design QA, deterministic lifecycle/direct-exit
interpolation, local loops, browser capture, and exported realtime/non-realtime seeking account
for the sampled outline width.

Smaller AI authoring surface

Extracted canonical Zod schemas and tool handlers into transport-neutral
packages/agent-tools

behind injected workspace/editor-bridge ports. The MCP server is now a renderer over those shared
records rather than the owner of tool behavior.

Consolidated committed apply, browser-free dry-run, rendered preview, and human Accept/Reject
proposal behavior into one mode-based
ograf_apply_operations
contract. Registered tools dropped
from 28 to 26.

Reduced the generated contract from 334,854 bytes to 133,868 bytes at consolidation; the final
0.05 contract, including text stroke, is 135,042 bytes and remains under the enforced 150,000-byte
budget.

Added optional
sections
to
ograf_get_capabilities
. Omitting it preserves the complete response;
agents can request only elements, easing, semantics, design system, loops, bindings, and/or editor
state when context matters.

Added
includeReview: true
to apply/dry-run. It returns deterministic design QA and a short-lived
browser capture URL when available; disconnected, throttled, or failed capture never rolls back or
invalidates the mutation/review.

Bundled template refresh

Refreshed the bundled News and Atlas templates through OGraf Studio/MCP rather than raw project
editing.

Added semantic roles/tags/descriptions, operator-facing field descriptions and limits, deliberate
QA exception tags, screen/soft-light blend modes, authored visibility, and cubic entrance/exit
motion while preserving their designs.

Both templates score 99/100 with only the advisory padding-rhythm finding. Both passed all five
exact dual-profile certification gates; the Atlas
.ograf.zip
was regenerated from the refreshed
editable source.

Validation

npm run verify
passes generated-contract drift, formatting, lint, every workspace typecheck,
285 tests across 56 files, the runtime bundle, and the production editor build.

A labelled browser contact sheet visibly rendered 2 px and 8 px text outlines while preserving
the white glyph fill. SVG diagnostics matched the 8 px sample and
paint-order="stroke fill"
.

Frame-specific browser measurement expanded by exactly 8 px in both dimensions at the 8 px key.

The disposable text-stroke fixture passed project semantics, official OGraf v1 manifest schema,
package layout, module/default-export/API, and realtime/non-realtime lifecycle certification.

The bundled
ograf-authoring
skill passes validation and its archive has been rebuilt.

Current boundaries

Headless render/certify remains explicitly deferred. Browser-backed capture, measurement,
certification, save, and export require one connected responsive OGraf Studio tab.

CSS text-stroke support should be included in the future renderer compatibility matrix even though
the current Chromium-based editor/runtime certification passed.

The production editor build retains the existing non-blocking large-chunk advisory.
