OGraf Studio 0.22

Stable 0.22 release.

Shader workflow

  • Assign one portable PNG or JPEG to a shader as iChannel0, with iChannelResolution[0], Repeat/Clamp wrapping, and Linear/Nearest filtering.
  • Add Shader as a true ordered effect-stack entry. Its iChannel0 is the flattened layer result after preceding effects; GPU Blend/Opacity feeds later effects.
  • Edit, load, preview, duplicate, reorder, bypass, and remove Shader effects from the same compact Properties stack used by the built-in effects.
  • Move exposed shader sliders smoothly: drag-time changes update mounted WebGL uniforms directly and commit one authored value on release.
  • Keep Resources focused on saved project shaders. Applying a shader no longer creates a duplicate-looking resource row.

What's new

  • AI Assistant supports Codex sign-in and Anthropic API connections, with clearer setup instructions.
  • Mark multiple rectangular or freehand areas directly on the canvas and give each area its own instruction, with optional voice dictation.
  • Review AI proposals on the main canvas, compare with the original, and accept or reject changes in AI Assistant.
  • Auto-keyframe protects against accidental animation while preserving existing motion. Timeline Space play/pause is fixed.
  • Save transparent template thumbnails and choose the thumbnail frame when exporting OGraf packages.
  • Embedded fonts render correctly in exported graphics, including fonts stored in custom package folders. Re-export existing graphics to include the fix.

OGraf Studio 0.20

  • Mark rectangular or freehand areas directly on the canvas and give each area its own AI instruction. Hold the mouse button to draw freehand; release to select.
  • Review AI proposals on the main canvas, compare with the original, and accept or reject in AI Assistant.
  • Auto-keyframe protects against accidental animation. When off, object edits preserve existing motion without adding keys. Timeline Space play/pause is also fixed.
  • Choose the thumbnail frame when exporting an OGraf package. MCP export supports the same frame choice.
  • Updated MCP contracts and the authoring skill for these workflows.

OGraf Studio 0.19

  • OGraf export ZIPs include a transparent <id>_thumb.png referenced in the manifest.
  • Thumbnails use 320 × 180 pixels for 16:9 templates, with proportional sizing for other formats.
  • The Save dialog adds previous/next-frame buttons and a fixed-size thumbnail preview.
  • The canvas has a black border that stays one screen pixel wide at every zoom level.
  • Timeline bands are borderless, 8px tall, and centered on the keyframe diamonds.
  • Updated README screenshot, MCP contracts, documentation, and authoring skills.

OGraf Studio 0.18

  • AI Assistant supports Codex, multiple annotated canvas selections, and browser voice dictation.
  • Accepted AI changes appear in History and can be undone; progress uses one updating status line.
  • Save templates with a transparent PNG thumbnail from a chosen frame or the first OGraf step. Thumbnail filenames use the project ID: <id>_thumb.png.
  • Fixed thumbnail rendering for embedded images supplied through data bindings.
  • Separate OGS, JSON, and All files filters in the Open dialog; Pause at Steps is enabled by default.
  • Updated MCP contracts, authoring skills, and user documentation.

OGraf Studio 0.17

This release introduces consistent official OGraf branding across Studio and its downloads.

  • Official OGraf wordmark in the top bar and export section, with a compact Studio label.
  • The official OGraf website icon replaces the browser and Windows executable icons.
  • The GitHub overview uses the official wordmark with light and dark theme support.
  • Bundled asset licensing and updated MCP version metadata.
  • Updated dependencies to address reported security advisories.

OGraf Studio 0.16

Preview & Export now supports fullscreen presentation with keyboard step controls.

  • Fullscreen replaces Picture only in the detached preview window and is also available in the docked pane. The graphic fills the display proportionally, without editor controls.
  • Move the detached preview window to the desired display before entering fullscreen. Keep the main Studio window open to continue editing and controlling the shared project.
  • Space / Right Arrow advances to the next OGraf step; Left Arrow goes to the previous step. Preview navigation does not operate the editing Timeline. Data inputs retain normal keys.
  • Escape exits fullscreen. Entering and leaving fullscreen preserves the current graphic and playback position. Editing the graphic still rebuilds the preview and resets playback.
  • Updated public usage and authoring-skill guidance.

OGraf Studio 0.15

This release makes canvas editing clearer and keeps path editing active during background clicks.

  • Removed the blue data-binding dots from canvas artwork. Bindings remain available in Properties → Data Bindings, with no change to playback data.
  • Clicking blank canvas during Edit as path keeps the path handles visible and preserves keyboard nudging. Done or Escape exits; normal deselection resumes afterward.
  • Updated MCP capabilities, public usage guidance and the authoring skill for these behaviors.

OGraf Studio 0.14

OGraf Studio 0.14 adds visual vector point editing and matching AI authoring operations.

Edit as path

  • Select a rectangle, rounded rectangle, ellipse or existing path, then choose Edit as path in Properties or the canvas context menu. Drag anchors and incoming/outgoing curve handles directly on the canvas, including on rotated and nonuniformly resized layers.
  • Add Point splits the following segment without changing its curve. Remove Point, Smooth and Corner reshape the contour. Shift constrains dragging; arrows nudge, Shift+Arrow moves ten units, and Alt adjusts a handle independently. Escape cancels a drag or exits; Done exits point mode.
  • Each finished drag is one undo step. Conversion retains layer identity, compatible paint, effects, bindings, relationships, transform keys and loops. Shape edits apply across the animation.
  • Edited paths can extend outside the original viewBox. Preview and exported runtime use the same expanded curve bounds, while keeping authored transform tracks fixed. Gradients span the expanded content box. Existing unedited paths retain their prior clipping behavior.

OGraf Studio 0.13

OGraf Studio 0.13 hardens Lottie playback and makes everyday layer creation safer and faster. The release includes single-file servers for Windows x64, macOS Intel/Apple Silicon and Linux x64/ARM64.
